Elliot Ross creates a wide variety of instrumental music beyond a single genre under his given name as well as, Moongriffin.
Elliot studied guitar in Chicago at DePaul University with Bob Palmieri & Bobby Broom. His studies with composer George Flynn were also a very significant influence on his constant composition and production of original music. Between living in Chicago, NYC and Portland, he has released a significant amount of music as a bandleader, composer and producer.
Elliot has taught over 10,000 private music lessons in person as well as over 3,000 remote sessions since the pandemic began in 2020. He continues to teach on an exclusive basis.
Elliot’s most recent work includes collaboration with Hank Shocklee scoring, “Ye! A Jagun Story,” a film by John Oluwole Adekoje.
